Kate Sullivan has extensive experience representing corporations, individuals and
insurers in a wide range of complex litigation matters, including those arising out
of commercial and corporate disputes, products liability, medical negligence and
general liability claims. In addition to her trial work, Kate has served as national
coordinating counsel for multiple corporations, advising her clients to obtain
consistent national litigation strategies and minimize risk.

Kate obtained her law degree from Temple University, Beasley School of Law, in
2007 where she earned distinction for her performance in trial advocacy. She
obtained her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Villanova University in
2002. Kate is licensed to practice law in Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Kate’s recent experience includes:

  • Representation of a manufacturer in a breach of contract claim.
  • Representation of a corporate officer in a civil securities action in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
  • Obtaining a defense verdict at trial in favor of a general surgeon sued for medical negligence for an allegedly unnecessary surgery.
  • Obtaining a defense verdict at trial in favor of a reconstructive surgeon sued for medical negligence for an alleged failure to timely diagnose and treat an infection resulting in debilitating injury.
  • Obtaining summary judgment in favor of a Delaware hospital where the plaintiff alleged both vicarious and direct claims of liability against the hospital.
  • Successful representation of two Fortune 200 agricultural and construction equipment manufacturers against hundreds of toxic tort claims.
  • Successful representation of Fortune 200 agricultural equipment manufacturer against claim that equipment spontaneously ignited, causing significant damage.
